Funday Sunday: "Twin Peaks"

Stepping in real quick today to squeeze in a Funday Sunday post.

Since I posted that meme a couple of days ago, I've not been able to get the magnificent TV series called Twin Peaks out of my head. And, while it isn't a comedy series - it does provide a wicked sense of humor. Not the laugh out loud kind - but the kind that keeps your smile attached to your lips from start to finish.

Besides - Emmeline told me she hadn't seen the series, and I must do what I can to allow her the pleasure of watching such a wonderful show.

Don't forget to check out the "3rd" monthly commenter story if you missed it yesterday! (Scroll on down)

A wicked sense of humor is the best kind. I laughed out loud a few times during that clip. Well, it was more like a chuckle but still, it was something. All the characters in this show were great. The timing is perfect.

Dianne: Ah! Yes... and when the disturbing stuff starts happening the cold shivers start up your spine - and who doesn't just love that feeling?

Jay: Lynch is WAY out there - that's why I love him so much (in a very professional sense).

Fortune Cookies: Twin Peaks is the one and only show everyone must see at some point. It is a sin not to have seen it ;)

Jill: Well, I hope that's only because you're too tired right now ;)

Jahooni: Yeah, I've missed you 'round these parts this past month. You didn't even make it into the story!

Nice to see you back though!

Knight: This is the kind of humor I enjoy the most. I don't usually like it when they try too hard to be funny. Twin Peaks has many of the funniest moments I've ever seen - the llama at the vets, the old man at the bank (in the last episode), the fish in the percolator... and about a thousand others.

Richard: Hmmm - another meme? Ok - thanks, I guess. I'll be over to check it out and see what I can do.

Hmm . . . I feel like I've missed some key point of the story . . . weird clip . . . not sure if I would like it or not. I'd probably have to watch a whole episode, but thanks for introducing me!

Cinder-Single: Twin Peaks does not play out like a "normal" TV series... you'll just have to let it take you wherever it goes ;) It's like a dream...

...speaking of dreams - you still dream about me? Sweet, and no need to be embarrassed about it. You could tell me all about them, instead!

~Angela~: You can never be too young for Twin Peaks. They are available on DVD... just need to buy the boxed sets and enjoy the show ;)

Jill: Are you not getting me, or are you not getting the awesomeness that is Twin Peaks?

Emmeline: Yeah, any short clip is going to leave you confused when you don't know the story. Twin Peaks especially, which was a typical series in which you needed to watch every episode to be able to follow the story... and it keeps getting weirder ;)

Well......both!

Jill: That's tough...
