A Couple Awards...

I don't really have much to say today... just one of those days I guess.

Well, to begin with - I have recieved another award, and this time it comes from the sweet Cardiogirl. She blogs about her every day struggles in life, and is one of the most openly honest and interesting bloggers around. It means a lot to me being given an award from her. You ROCK Cardio!

This is what this award stands for - according to what Cardiogirl posted over on her blog:

The Daily Dose Award is for “all the blogs that you’ve discovered that you can’t possibly live without. They make you laugh, cry, think and feel connected every time you read a post. They give you a thrill as you see them loading into your browser and you get an equally satisfying thrill when you see that they have commented on your blog.”

Well, I've been doing some thinking as to whom I should pass this award on to - and my final decision is as follows (as usual this was a very hard process, and I'm sorry if you feel left out... it doesn't mean I don't love you!).

Emmeline at Why The Sky Is Blue...
Her ongoing series about the Sports Fan, and the history of her love life was one of the inspirations that got me started on Rubicon Heart. I love her openness and appreciate that she's decided to share that story with us all. She will always be supportive and give encouraging comments here on my blog as well.

Leighann at Pessimists Need Love Too
You never quite know what you will stumble upon when entering Leighann's corner of the blogging universe. It may be outrage, cynicism, sarcasm, nudity, vampires... and lately she even dares bleed a little from time to time. Wonderful place to visit if you haven't been there. Loyal and entertaining commenter here on Ramblings Of A Madman, as well.

Sparkling Red at No More Casual Nonchalance
A blog that I feel has grown a lot of late, and she will always keep your eyes glued to the screen as you read about her parents divorce and the trials and tribulations of every day life. Another one of those whose comments on my blog always makes me happy.

And, I was also given this award from Jen over at Tales From A Texaconsin Diva. Actually, she said that those of us who continually comment and read her blog were all deserving of the award, and that it was there for the taking... so I took it. Thanks, Jen! It's always a pleasure to read your blog.

So, I won't really be passing this one along either. I will let you know, though, that if you are a loyal commenter, and you feel that you DO make my day (which all of you loyal commenters do) - well, then you're welcome to flaunt this award on your sidebar - or wherever you prefer showing off your trophy case. My blog would be nothing without all of you!

Finally. Don't forget about the Picture Fiction Challenge, which is due on the 20th of February. You have until the 23rd to post your story... but it is recommended you get it posted on the 20th, so that we all have ample time to get on over to your blogs and read what you've come up with. I'm just so excited to see what you make from the pictures, and what direction your stories have taken.

Click the picture to refresh your memories, and look at the pictures for this month's challenge.

Tomorrow is "Funday Sunday" which took a break last Sunday on account of the monthly feature "3rd". I don't yet know what I'll post to tickle your funny bones - but hopefully I'll come up with something hilarious.

Aw thanks so much! Writing The History has been so much fun for me that it's just a huge bonus that my readers have enjoyed it too. I know I need to get back to it soon, and I will. Thanks again. I haven't started work on the PFC yet, but I will do that soon too. Looking forward to seeing the result.

Joel: it's more like talking to you. - Thanks. Glad you feel that way, because that's pretty much what I want this blog to be like.

Leighann: See? There's just so much about you that's likeable!

Sparkling Red: Caught the Heartfelt Thank You, and definitely felt the hug... I'll send you the hospital bill after they replace my spine later ;)

Emmeline: Yeah, I'm kinda waiting for the next letter. Want to know how things will turn out!

And, I've not started my PFC story either. Been short on writing time of late (which is why the next chapter of Rubicon Heart is yet to appear... sorry about that!)

Lakota Princess: Thank You. Nice to know that my blog is a life saver... Love your blog too!

Leighann: D'you think I could handle that? ;)

Jay Cam: Well, I did get the idea from old school projects - the ones that I liked!

Your blog is a treasure and I agree - vlogging would be so great. Bet you've got a sexy voice ;)

You deserve the awards and you have a wonderful community of regulars - I'm slowly making my way around.

Have some fun tonight - I think you deserve it.

Congratulations on the awards! You are certainly on my "Daily Dose" list.

I've been working diligently on my PFC story. I'm not sure how it will come together, but the process has been an interesting one for me!

I should probably get working on that PFC. I don't want to go back to my days in college by waiting until the last minute.

Hey no apologies! You are the author of this blog, you decide when and what to post and how often! No worries. :)

I love being formally introduced to new blogs via award posts. That is how I found my way here and I'm stopping by here all the time now.

Dianne: So you think I've got a sexy voice? Hehe - then maybe I shall not vlog. I would hate to ruin your assumptions... but, on the other hand. I've had that comment a couple of times.

Dana: Thanks - you're on my Daily Dose as well. And, I'm looking forward to reading your PFC.

Jay: I know. I even host the thing, and I've not started writing yet. I'll probably start on the 19th ;)

Emmeline: I know. But I DO feel a little guilty leaving you all hanging there... and I had intended to post last Wednesday. And, yes it IS my blog, so I will get to it when I feel ready to write it out.

Knight: Glad you found your way here. I'm also happy I found your blog. I've enjoyed reading your posts as well.

Casdok: Thanks.
